What To Do This Easter In Somerset 2017

There's always a lot going on in Somerset during Easter! It's something we seem to take very seriously! Depending on where you are, and what sort of thing you are hoping to do, I'm sure there's something here you'd love!
If you're looking for a classic Easter Egg hunt, look no further!

Cadburys have collaborated with National Trust again this year to create lots of egg hunts all over the UK this April. You pay a couple of pounds to take part, and follow a trail around National Trust properties to receive a Cadburys's egg at the end! You can find out the nearest egg hunt to you here!

There's a lovely Easter Fair happening in West Henley near Langport. 
It's to help raise money for Heavens Gate Farm! There's a tombola, easter egg hoopla, face painting and lots more! (16th April - 12-4pm)

If you fancy visiting somewhere different, why not go to Glastonbury Abbey
There's lots of Easter fun going on, an it's a great way to explore the beautiful, historical site!  (10-17 April)

Looking for something more creative to do? Why not have a go at making your own eco-friendly easter baskets? 
Visit Hestercombe Gardens near Taunton. (4th & 11th April)

There's an Easter Egg-Stravaganza going on at Wookey Hole throughout April! 
Lots of fun and games, competitions and a free easter gift for every child. (1st-23rd April)

At the Fleet Air Arm museum you can take part in the Big Bunny Drop
Design a parachute for your easter bunny to land safely on the ground! 
(4th-6th, 11-13th & 18-20th April)

Why not take your little ones on an Easter Teddy Bears outing, with East Somerset Railway! 

With a 'Spot The Teddy Bear' competition, even opportunities to ride OR DRIVE the miniature railway! (14th-17th April)

For a good old village fete vibe, why not visit the Mells Daffodil Festival?
Live Music, Stalls, Rides & even a Hog Roast! (17th April)

What is Easter without chocolate? For all of you chocoholics out there, why not visit the Taste Chocolate Festival
Lots of chocolate (and Rum!) tasting, a prossecco bar & even a multisensory chocolate experience! (15-16th April)
Why not try something cultural this Easter and visit the Easter Sculpture Exhibition

This year The Botanic Garden is featuring art from the internationally renowned sculptor Lucianne Lassalle. (14-17 April)
