Oh My Blog - Summer Holiday Edition {Guest Post}

This is Oh My Blog: A monthly blogging series that allows you to meet a fellow blogger and get their  opinions on a whole host of topics. Since its July, there’s no better time to start talking about holidays, sunshine and getaways and this month, it’s the turn of Kelly-Anne from Mimi Rose & Me.

Miffy Classic Stacking Blocks {Toy Review}

I absolutely love Miffy. The stories are so lovely, the illustrations are beautiful and even the TV programme is just so sweet! I was so excited to introduce the books to my little ones, and they love them! We've got a bit of a collection now and tend to read one most nights. So you can imagine how excited I was when I found out that you can actually buy Miffy toys, and they are all as adorable as you'd think. We were given the opportunity to review a toy from their range, and we were sent these gorgeous stacking blocks. My little ones love them!

3 Simple, Actionable Tips For A More Sustainable Home

As we embrace the summer, which has already delivered the hottest June day in 40 years, it’s becoming blazingly obvious that the temperature in the UK is rising year on year. Whilst we enjoy the weather, though, it’s still a worry (especially when Donald Trump walks out of the G20…) that we are heading towards irreversible damage to the planet. Many people will say “well, what can I do? I’m just a drop in the ocean”, but we don’t have time for negativity like that.

When It's OK To Use A Payday Loan

We've all been there. It's not quite payday and we've ran out of money. Your car breaks down, and you don't have any spare cash to fix it at the moment! Bills, car repairs, emergencies, home repair, gifts. The unexpected items that we often need to buy, at the times when we simply can't afford to.

When you are a child, the Summer holidays never last long enough! But when you are a parent, the summer holidays tend to drag a bit, and it can get hard trying to keep your little ones entertained! So if you're in Somerset, I'm sure there will be something here you & your little ones would love to do during the holidays! Fun Things To Do In Somerset During The Summer Holidays 2017.

My Top Three Favourite Movies

If you've followed my blog for a while, or know me in person I'm sure you know what my three favourite movies are! I tell people all the time! Haha. It's a well known fact that I love my movies. All kinds of them. From Disney to Horrors, from Uber Cheesy to Psychological Thrillers. I love them all. Splashlings {Toy Review}

Splashlings are new ocean themed play sets with little under the sea creatures and mermaid figurines. My little girl is obsessed with little figures like this at the moment, and she couldn't have been more excited to have a cute mermaid to play with too!

Blogging Goals 2017 #2

Setting goals is one of my favourite things to do - is that sad? Haha. I love planning, jotting down ideas and writing lists. I think setting goals for any aspect of your life is a great idea. A rough plan, giving you something to aspire to and work towards. I also find you are far more likely to achieve your goals if you write them down.

11 Ways To Get Summer Inspired

The days are longer, the weathers warmer (hopefully). For me summer is all about relaxing. Enjoying the free time you have, not stressing so much and embracing the sunshine. Especially as we don't have that much of it in the UK! In the past, I've felt like I've sort of wasted the summer & the sunshine. Not getting outside enough, or not enjoyed myself enough. Truth is, I can't deal with it when it's too hot! But on those comfortably hot days, it's nice to get outdoors and really take it all in. So if you need a bit of motivation, here are 11 Ways To Get Summer Inspired.

Floral Summer Style - Dresses

I used to live in dresses. Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter you'd always see me in a dress. I don't wear them as much now (truthfully that's because of this baby weight that refuses to leave!), but I still admire them, and buy them now and then. So I'm sharing some of my favourite summer dresses I've been admiring, and by coincidence, they're all floral. Can you get any more girly? Haha.

My Sunday Photo #26 - Beach Day

We spent yesterday at the beach, and it was so lovely. It was hot, but not unbearable and we spent hours there. Building sandcastles, eating icecreams on the beach and it was even warm enough to swim in the sea. SWIM. In ENGLAND! Like I went underwater. It was so nice as my little ones have only been to the beach once or twice, and one of those times it rained. It was such a good day!

10 Disney Quotes To Inspire You

I love a good inspirational quote. I pin them all the time, I jot them down to remind me, I print them and stick them up on my wall. Movies can be an amazing way to embrace life & inspire you. They can motivate you, help you discover your true feelings, what you really want and what you really feel deep down. Some of my favourite movies are Disney movies. I freaking love them, and it's true - Disney movies are not just for kids. So to share my appreciation for the classics, I am sharing with you a few inspiring Disney quotes. I hope you like them!

Am I Failing As A Mother?

It's hard not to compare yourself to other parents isn't it. You know you shouldn't, and you know it's ridiculous. You want to be able to give your children the whole world, everything they deserve, but you can't always. I often find myself wondering if I am good enough. If I give my little ones enough, if they have enough experiences and joy in their lives. So looking at other parents and comparing their "lives" to ours is hard. It makes me feel guilty, and I think to myself Am I Failing As A Mother?
