Little Red Riding Hood Playset from SRI Toys

Wooden toys are just the best, aren't they? If we could swap every noisy, plastic rubbish toy in this house for beautiful wooden ones, we definitely would. There's just something so special about wooden toys. They look so much nicer, they're safer, better for the environment too. That's why I was so excited when we were given the opportunity to review a gorgeous wooden playset from SRI Toys.

The playset we received was a lovely Little Red Riding Hood set, and my little ones instantly fell in love. They love small world play, and the story of Little Red Riding Hood so this was the perfect toy for them. The pieces are so gorgeous. So bright, and beautifully detailed, each piece decorated by hand. The little ones couldn't wait to start playing as soon as we opened the box.

I misplaced the instructions (entirely my own fault) so I couldn't figure out how to put the little house together straight away but after putting it up it only took a few seconds in the end. The only issue I have with this set is the putting the house up each time you play. I mean, it's not really an issue as it takes mere seconds, but my little guy is the sort of boy who goes around knocking down brick towers, stomping on sand castles..or taking apart wooden houses every 5 seconds. So I'd prefer it if the house was put together, but that's just my personal opinion.

The little ones have had so much fun playing with the characters, especially if we read the story along at the same time too. Or sometimes my little girl plays with the grandma & red riding hood, and my little guy plays with the big bad wolf chasing them around! Haha.

Honestly, (aside from me being lazy about putting up the house) I cannot fault this beautiful set. It's sturdy and completely child-friendly. No sharp edges, or little pieces. Just big, chunky, gorgeous figures that'll provide hours of fun & imaginative play for your little ones.
