DIY Gift Basket For Foodies

I've been putting together a fun gift basket for a family member recently, and she is quite the foodie. Included are lots of great items, perfect for any foodie or chef! I think putting together a personalised gift basket really makes a great gift idea. You put so much more effort and thought into it and a quick, shop bought gift. Do you agree?

In the gift basket I included;
* Mini Stovetop Smoker
* Metal 'Hamburgers' Sign
* Star Dish
* Raw Ginger Virgin Coconut Oil
* Abel & Cole - How To Eat Brilliantly Everyday Recipe Book
* Coffee Liquer
* Waxed Stilton
* Odour Illiminating Chef Candles
* Food Nutrionist Tea Towel & Oven Gloves
* Recipe Book
* Glass Bottle

The Mini Stovetop Smoker is a fantastic item from Sous Chef. It allows you to smoke food on your oven top or grill, indoors or outdoors! You can cook enough food for two people at a time, and a huge variety of foods from chicken, duck, fish and even prawns! It's really quick & easy to use too.

Coconut Oil is a magnificient kitchen staple. This Raw Ginger Virgin Coconut Oil from Tiana would be perfect for any foodie. Coconut Oil is so versatile for cooking, and other uses and this particular product is fantastic. It's really fresh, and perfect for frying, roasting or whatever you need, and you only need a small amount so it lasts for a long time. Plus it tastes great too!

I've included a few items from Abel & Cole in my gift basket. That includes the fab cookbook - How To Eat Brilliantly Everyday. The book is so vibrant and beautiful, with a huge amount of fun, inspiring and delicious recipes included. With lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free recipes too, it really has something for everyone. Another item from Abel & Cole is this fantastic Cold & Blac Original Coffee Liquer. It's really delicious, and perfect for anyone who loves everything coffee! It's not too sweet and it's perfect for including in desserts, or just drinking by itself! I also included some delicious Waxed Stilton, because Christmas isn't Christmas without fancy cheese!

I purchased the Odour Illiminating Chef Candles here*, as I had heard great things about them. And as someone who personally doesn't like 'cooking smells' I think these are a fantastic find. Perfect for any budding chef who often fills their home with cooking smells.

This beautiful tea towel and matching oven glove set are from The Food Nutritionist. I absolutely love the print on them and they make the perfect addition to a gift basket for budding chefs.

Last but not least, I also included a lovely glass bottle, pretty & festive star dish and another recipe book.

Have you ever made a personalised gift basket before?
