Aukey USB Essential Oil Diffuser {Review}

I'm trying to create a more cosy, homely home for myself and my loved ones this year. I love chunky candles in jars, reed diffusers and fairy lights but they need replacing fairly often, which is a shame. Candles are amazing, as they create a wonderful scent in the home but soon enough the smell fades and the candles melt away. Reed diffusers look so pretty, and provide a beautiful, but lighter scent - but they tend to last even less time. I've always loved the look of plug-in diffusers so I was really excited to give the *Aukey Essential Oil Diffuser a try!

First of all, I love how the diffuser looks. It's small and minimalist, but pretty powerful considering the size. The wooden print is really beautiful too. I love how it looks on this shelf, amongst my plants!

It's really easy to use as well. As you need to do is gently twist off the outer case, and pour water in up to the maximum fill line. Add a few drops of your chosen essential oils (I love using Lavender in the evenings, or Lemon during the day). Twist the case back on, plug the lead into a USB port and press the mist button.

The diffuser is really fantastic because you can either have the mist continuously going or switch it to 30 seconds on, 30 seconds off. There is also a lovely light inside the diffuser, which means it can be used for a nightlight, or to just create a cosy atmosphere in your home - again there are two settings for the light depending on how bright you want the light.

Like I said, it's really easy to use, and it works so well. Our home smells amazing now! I plan on trying different essential oil combinations, and apparently, the diffuser can even be used as a humidifier, so that will be interesting to try.

Using the *Aukey USB Essential Oil Diffuser is a great way to reduce the waste you create, and money you spend from not having to replace candles or reed diffusers. It's also helped to us embrace Hygge by making us feel more relaxed and comfortable in our home.

Have you ever used a usb diffuser before?
