DIY Moana Themed Birthday Party

We thought it was finally time my little girlie had a proper birthday party! She turned 4 on Saturday, and we all knew exactly what the theme was going to be - Moana! Ever since we first watched the movie together, we've all been a bit obsessed!

We didn't have a huge amount of money to spend on the party, so I wanted to share some of the ways we saved some money - but still made a really fun party for our little girlie. As a lot of her friends and her brother are only little (between 18 months - 4 years old) we couldn't do anything really complicated, so we just played musical chairs and pass the parcel. For days before the party, all my little girlie wanted to do was play pass the parcel!

I found a lot of fab Moana party printables including these invitations, and this leaf garland. The invitations looked really effective and were easy to edit before printing. The leaf garland was a really fantastic find! I also found this adorable Happy Birthday banner too!

Blue & green balloons were an essential, and I bought a multipack of flower garlands so every child could have one/take one home too.

Lots of homemade goodies such as brownies and cupcakes went down really well - as well as her birthday cake itself. (Which I made, it's a bit terrible - but it tasted really good! And she loved it which is all that matters!)

Last but not least, I bought a pack of blue paper bags on Ebay for party bags, and printed off these cake toppers to use as stickers to stick on the bags!

All in all, it was a really good day! Everyone had fun and we were all exhausted afterwards! (Which is always a good sign!)

Are you or your little ones fans of Moana?
