So Eco Eye Brush Kit {Review}

My make up brushes have definitely seen better days. I've been meaning to replace them for a while now and I knew I wanted to invest in something better than the cheap plastic ones I previously bought. As I am embarking on a journey to zero waste this year I wanted to replace them with something more environmentally friendly and then I discovered the So Eco range.
As they are environmentally friendly I was interested to see what sort of packaging they would come in. Plastic packaging is one of our biggest downfalls in this country and I knew I'd be quite disappointed if my new makeup brushes arrived smothered in plastic. And I am very happy to say I was pleasantly surprised! The entire packaging is made from recycled and sustainable materials, and the said materials are all compostable, recyclable and biodegradable. Sounds fantastic, but I noticed the 'plastic' window which surely couldn't be made of anything else but plastic, right? Wrong. The plastic window is actually made of cornstarch. The makeup brush handles are made from bamboo, the box is held together by water-based adhesives and printed using vegetable inks.
I cannot praise the packaging enough, and other companies definitely need to take note!

So as you can tell, I was very impressed with the brushes before I'd even opened the box!

The eye brush kit includes a fine liner brush, small and large eye shading brushes, eyeliner brush, lash and brow comb and a cotton case to keep them all in. The brush handles are a great size to hold, but not too big which allows you to be more precise when applying eye makeup. The brushes are super soft, with fine bristles which makes them really comfortable and easy to use.

Also, I need to mention, the packaging clearly states that the brushes are cruelty-free, eco-friendly, vegan and vegetarian-friendly too!

These brushes are definitely going to be used as part of my daily makeup routine now. I love them! You can purchase the brushes from Tesco, Sainsburys and *Amazon!
