Making Holiday Memories As A Family
When I was younger we used to go on lots of holidays, some really lovely places - for making lots of fun memories! From sleeping in a hostel in Berlin, to cruising on a Narrow boat to Nottingham, to relaxing at a hotel in Spain and sleeping in a log cabin at Disneyland Paris! But I wanted to share today, some lovely memories we have from our first holiday with our little ones!
I want to ensure my little ones have lots of fun memories of growing up, and going on holiday. Trying new things, going on adventures and seeing new places! Taking photos is a great way to capture those memories, and it's always lovely to look back at them and remember what you got up to!
I was asked by Holiday Gems to share some of my favourite holiday moments and I wanted to look back at our holiday to Weymouth last year! It was the first holiday we had been on as a family of four, and we all had such a good time!
As it was our first holiday together, we wanted to do all the typical, touristy things! We spent a lot of time on the beach, building sandcastles, riding on Pedalo's and skimming stones! (Or just throwing stones into the sea! Haha) We also visited the aquarium, my little ones had a ride on a donkey and on on our last night, we treated ourselves to an ice cream on the beach at sunset. It was a really lovely moment.
We all have really fond memories of our time away, it was so lovely to be able to share the experience of a holiday with my little ones, finally. I know it was a memorable time for us all, and my little girlie still often talks about all the different things we got up to, it's really sweet. Here's to many more fun holiday memories!
