The Healthy Happy Mum Plan is a fantastic, informative and advice filled book by Katie Piper & Terri-Ann Nunns. It's a light take on a how to manual for mums. Full of useful tips, recipes, relatable stories and the ideal book for new mums who feel they need a bit of a kick up the bum!


I have struggled with my weight for..atleast 10 years now. I know. Before I had my little girl my weight went up and up and up. Then I fell in love with my pregnancy body, and after she was born I was back to a good weight again. Then I started to gain and became pregnant again and my weight hasn't stopped fluctuating since. It can be so hard to find the time (and money) to be able to exercise and eat as well as you should be. Finding time to take care of yourself as a busy mum, is a constant struggle.


Katie & Terri-Ann became friends and knew they wanted to create a realistic and affordable plan to inspire mums into taking better care of themselves, and becoming healthier both mentally and physically. So The Healthy Mum Plan was created!

As soon as I received the book, I couldn't put it down. The 'manual' is divided into lots of different sections, which means you can easily search for the section you want. From being social, to recipes, to a food diary for you to fill in. The book is jam packed with useful tips and plans.


Although the book is full of advice, it's different to a lot of other self help or diet books. What makes it stand out from other books is that you can clearly tell they are mums. It makes them so much more relatable and understanding, almost as if you are talking with a friend. With loads of bright vibrant photos, and no strict rules - it makes it the ideal manual for new mums, or mums who are perhaps lacking that self confidence they deserve!
