What To Do This Easter In Somerset 2019

There's always a lot going on in Somerset during Easter! Depending on where you are, and what sort of thing you are hoping to do, on any budget I'm sure there's something here you'd love to do!

Easter Egg Hunt & Family Fun Day - Rural Life Museum, Glastonbury
The fantastic Rural Life Museum has a range of Easter activities going on this week! If you've never visited before, I definitely recommend having a stroll through, and over Easter they have a fun Easter Trail through the museum itself. On Thursday they are also hosting an Easter Family Fun Day! With lots of crafts and games it's sure to be a good day. So why not head down there this week, and if you fancy a walk, Glastonbury Tor is just around the corner! {Trail 6th-24th April £1 per trail, plus entrance fee. Easter Fun Day 18th April}

Easter Trail & Activities - Wookey Hole, Wells
As well as all the normal, brilliant attractions at Wookey Hole - Caves, Dinosaur Valley, 4D Cinema and much more, they also have a fun Easter Trail and Treasure Hunt! Plus, fun Easter activities, competitions and a free Easter treat - all included in the ticket price! {Event on 6th-28th April, normal entry fee}

Easter 'Egg Delivery' - Fleet Air Arm Museum, Yeovilton
There are fun Easter themed activities going on at the Fleet Air Arm Museum this year! Titled "Easter Egg Delivery", it's all about the Easter Bunny safely deliver his eggs using the fastest plane in the world - Concorde, but he needs your help too! {16th-19th April, 11-3pm, normal entry fee}

Nature/Animal Themed Easter Events - Secret World Wildlife Rescue, Henstridge
Secret World is a wonderful place to visit with your family, set in the beautiful countryside. Over the Easter period you can enjoy some fun activities such as meeting Birds of Prey, games & nature themed activities, crafts, BBQ's, stalls and even a dog show! Every penny helps to raise funds to help British wildlife. {20th-22nd April, 10-4pm £1-£2}

Giant Easter Egg Hunt - Noah's Ark Farm, Wraxall
Why not head to the wonderful Noah's Ark Farm an experience a 'Giant Easter Egg Hunt'! With lots of eggs to find around the zoo, arts & crafts and some truly amazing competitions, it's definitely a great place to visit this month! {6th-27th April, normal entry fee}

Glow In The Dark Egg Hunt - Cheddar Gorge & Caves
The Easter Bunny has stopped by Cheddar Caves this year! Follow the trail through the mysterious Gough's Cave and spot the delightful array of glow in the dark Easter eggs! Keep your eyes peeled, and you might even spot the magical golden egg! {6th-22nd April, Admission included with Day Ticket}

Easter 'Shellebration' - Quedam Shopping Centre, Yeovil
There's a whole shellebration going on at the Quedam Shopping Centre this month! Face painting, egg painting, egg hunt, live music, farm animals and lots more. It's definitely worth a visit! {8th-20th April , See full timetable here}

Cadbury Egg Hunts, Throughout Somerset
Cadbury and National Trust have once again combined forces to host a number of fun-filled Easter Egg hunts this year! Following Easter Bunny's clues, to go on an adventure and be rewarded with a delicious chocolate treat when you finish!
