Set smart goals
Spring is the perfect time of year to reevaluate your goals. You can find places and organisations easily on the government website. Look for a charity with a cause you’re particularly interested in, or simply help those in need near you. 

Help out at your child’s school
Another option for parents is to help out at your child’s school. You could volunteer to read with children or organise after school activities and clubs. You could even take part in planning school events as they’ll often need extra hands on deck. You might end up setting up stage lighting equipment or assisting with the catering. Finding ways to help out will be very motivating and you can get more involved in your child’s school life. 

Get in touch with nature
There are many wellness benefits of getting outdoors and in touch with nature. It allows you to centre your mind and find your inner calm. Try mindful activities like forest bathing. Try to seek encouragement from the support group around you and you can motivate each other to achieve great things. 

Make time to play
Playtime is just as beneficial for adults as it is for children. It’s important to make time to play. This means disconnecting completely from your everyday stresses and setting time aside to enjoy yourself. Play is often incorporated into work environments, for example, even if it’s just a quick quiz or game between colleagues. You could also embrace your inner child by trying activities such as colouring, climbing trees, video games, or even visiting a theme park. There are endless possibilities.
