DIY Rose Scented Candles

Aside from bath bombs, one of my favourite things to make are candles. They are surprisingly easy to do and you can pick up the ingredients pretty cheaply, (or reuse what you have) and customise them however you fancy! I decided I wanted to make some Valentines Day themed candles this time around, so I thought what better ones to make than some lovely rose scented candles!

You Will Need:
* Glass Jars (wash and reuse old ones!)
* Candle Wicks
* Leftover White Candles/Wax
* Candle Dye
* Saucepan
* Tin Can
* Rose Essential Oil

1. Before you begin, you will need to prepare your jars. Place the *wick inside the jar and keep it still by hot glueing it to the bottom of the jar.
2. Break up your wax and pop it into the tin can, about a can full per candle.
3. Place the tin can in a saucepan of hot water.
4. Simmer the hot water until the wax has completely melted, and stir in a tiny amount of *candle dye. (You can always add a tiny bit more if you want after)
5. Once the dye in stirred in well and the wax has changed colour you can add a few drops of essential oil.
6. Pour the melted wax carefully in your glass jar. If you need to, you can clip a peg to the top of the wick and rest it on top of the jar to keep the wick in the centre of the candle.
7. Leave to cool overnight & decorate your jar if you wish!
