Woodland Easter Egg Hunt

Hope you all had a lovely long Easter weekend, and if you have little ones - I hope you're all enjoying half term! (We do love Easter, but half term's definitely drag a bit!). It's always a struggle to keep the little ones entertained everyday, trying to tire them out like they would be if they were at nursery!

One thing we do every single Easter though, without a doubt is go on an Easter Egg hunt (or two!). We started this new tradition that every Easter Monday we go to the woods near my mum's house and go on an Easter Egg hunt. My mum, Siblings & I take it in turns each year to hide the eggs throughout the woods. (There's a rough path to follow, which makes it easier).

No matter the weather, as long as it's not snow, it's a tradition I hope we keep us for a long time. It's so lovely to go exploring in the woods and it's such a fun setting for an Easter Egg Hunt!

It's always my mum, my two sisters, my brother, my two little ones and I, and our Egg Hunt tradition is always fun & exciting for us all! Even if we don't do anything else to celebrate Easter, this is something we'll always do and it's perfect. A lovely family day exploring nature!

Did you go on an Easter Egg Hunt this year?
