Christmas Books Review From Scholastic

I absolutely love the idea of giving books as gifts, particularly for little ones. They are always great present ideas if you don't know exactly what to buy for someone, and the gift of a beautiful new book is always appreciated.

As you probably know by now, I'm a big fan of Scholastic books! They always provide an excellent array of new and classic books, for a variety of different ages and for excellent prices. I was delighted to be offered the chance to review a few of their books this year from their Christmas range! {This post contains affiliate links}

My little ones are big fans of activity books at the moment. From colouring to stickers and crafts, The Zog Activity Book is the perfect book for little ones this year. We love Julia Donaldson books anyway in this house and are impatiently waiting for Zog's television debut on Christmas Day!
This fantastic Zog themed activity book has a large variety of fun activities for your little ones, from stickers to recipes, puzzles and even press out crafts to enjoy together too!

If you're looking for a different sort of book this Christmas, something a bit sillier, look no further than Dinosaurs Go Christmas Shopping! It's a cheeky, fun to read rhyming book about a bunch of silly dinosaurs who are running rampant during the festive period. It's a happy, seasonal story, one that you won't mind reading over and over again! Plus, I really love a book that has a sneaky moral to the story, and this definitely has that too!

Last but not least, How To Hide A Lion At Christmas. It's the fourth book in an adorable series about Iris, a little girl and her lion. It's a sweet, heartwarming tale about friendship during the festive period with a sweet message behind it, and gorgeous illustrations - I can see this becoming a Christmas classic in our house. I love the little surprise of spotting Father Christmas toward the end of the book too!

Have you bought, or are you planning on buying a book for a child this Christmas?
