The cold weather has definitely arrived here in England! The temperature has dropped dramatically (although no signs of snow here yet!) so it's the ideal time to stock up on some snuggly winter wear! We like to spend quite a lot of time outdoors as a family, whether it's just a quick sunday walk, or a trip to the park after school. No weather can stop us! But as the weather in England can be ridiculously unpredictable it's important to have good quality clothing!
I was recently given the opportunity to review a couple of lovely items from Lighthouse Clothing and I was so excited. I absolutely love the colour yellow, it's so vibrant and always makes me feel more confident when I wear it. So that's why I decided to go for the gorgeous Raven Yellow Jacket in Sunset colour.
I have to say, it's the most comfortable coat I have ever owned! It's made of 100% cotton, but it's totally waterproof and breathable to wear meaning it's perfect for rainy days. It's also insulated and fleece lined (even the hood which is amazing!) to keep you super snuggly and warm on cold winter days too.
I knew I wanted a bright yellow coat, so the Raven Jacket was the perfect choice for me. It's a gorgeous, bright coat and the perfect way to brighten up a dull winter day. The jacket is really excellent quality, nice and thick, but not heavy to wear or too warm. I would personally say the coat was exactly true to size, and all in all, I love everything about this coat!
I was also sent the beautiful Hannah Bobble Hat in Stone colour. I absolutely love hats, I've always loved bobble hats like this and I wear them as soon as the colder weather arrives! I really love the cable knit look and I wear a lot of grey too, so honestly this hat is just perfect for me! It's made of really high quality, soft material and I love the large blue bobble on the top. It's such a comfy hat to wear, it stays on well and keeps your head nice and toasty. PLUS it covers your ears which is always a bonus as a lot of hats don't, and that's where I tend to get cold!
