When you are breastfeeding, one of the most important things you will need to buy for yourself, but often forgotten, is breastfeeding wear. Whether you are out in public, on your sofa or even in bed, nursing appropriate clothes are essential. I don't really have many nursing friendly outfits at the moment and it can honestly be a struggle when you are trying to feed your hungry baby whilst fumbling with your layers of clothing.
For the first week or so of having our baby girlie at home I pretty much lived in my pyjamas. Which is all well and good, but during the first few weeks after giving birth you'll be super uncomfortable, absolutely exhausted, and your boobs will be leaking..a lot. So comfort is absolutely key when it comes to nursing wear, as is accessibility and that's why I was delighted to review these lovely Nursing Pyjamas from Hunkemoller, I've only recently discovered Hunkemoller but they have a gorgeous range of high quality clothing from lingerie to swimwear, pyjamas, "adult wear" and even nursing wear!
As I mentioned I was recently given the chance to review their Nursing Pyjamas, and I have to say I am very impressed. The top comes in black and I love the look of it. I would feel comfortable answering the door in it (which is important to me in pyjamas! Haha) I love the material and it's so soft and stretchy but it's long enough to cover up the mum tum too.
I really like the pyjama trousers too, I absolutely love grey so these are the perfect colour for me. The elasticated waist makes them so much more comfy and not too tight (plus elasticated waists are essential after giving birth!).
Both the top and trousers and soft, comfortable and really lightweight to wear, not too clingy either - I hate tight or clingy pyjamas! The pyjamas retail at £34 which is pretty good value for money, for a well made and comfy pair of breastfeeding pyjamas.
