{AD/REVIEW} Britax B-Lite Stroller & Romer Baby Safe Car Seat

It seemed not all that long ago that my two eldest were in their good old double pushchair! But since I found out I was pregnant with our newest addition I knew we'd have to replace the excessively large double pushchair for a more newborn friendly single pushchair! So with that in mind, I was delighted when Britax kindly gave me the opportunity to review their Britax B-Lite Stroller

The Britax B-Lite pushchair is designed to be used from birth to three years. It's made to be an easy, reliable stroller. Easy to put together, easy to pack up and lightweight which makes it perfect for everyday use. Although you can use it with babies from birth, it's also travel system compatible which means, like us you can attach a Britax Romer infant carrier to the stroller.

My absolute favourite type of stroller is a travel system compatible one, so I knew I'd love this stroller before it even arrived. There's just something so satisfying about moving a sleeping baby from the car, in their car seat, and clicking it safely into place on the pushchair and happily strolling away without waking the baby! Haha! The box that the pushchair arrived in was surprisingly tall! It's quite heavy actually when removing it from the box! My first impressions when removing it from the box is it's actually a really sleek, slim pushchair and it's already pretty much put together for you! I did notice that there are absolutely no accessories included with the stroller, which is understandable but I was quite disappointed about the lack of even a raincover.

As I mentioned above, the stroller was pretty much put together for you, which is fantastic! I am absolutely the worst person at putting anything together. So luckily all you need to do to put up the stroller is to zip the hood on, clip the bumper bar on (if using without car seat) and pop the wheels in! If you are looking to attach a car seat to this stroller you will need to purchase separate Click And Go Receivers

I have to say, I am really impressed with the handling and maneuverability of this stroller. It's lightweight, not heavy or bulky at all! The padded handlebar makes it comfortable to push and it's really easy to steer, even one handed! Often on the school run I am having to push one handed and this stroller couldn't have made it any easier for me to do so! I absolutely cannot fault the handling at all!

The shopping basket underneath the pushchair is a decent size. Perfect for a quick trip to the shop, or a few essentials when you're heading out for a couple of hours. It isn't the biggest of baskets, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in elasticity! It's surprising just how much you can fit in there actually!

Putting the pushchair up is really really easy! With the simple click of a clasp, the stroller pops up and you are good to go! If you are attaching a car seat, you'll need to clip in the receivers, which the car seat then clicks in to. Putting it down is slightly more difficult. But don't get me wrong, when you get the hang of it, it can be done in seconds! But it does take a while to figure out exactly how to do it! You need to first remove the car seat (using a long button behind the head of the seat), then unclip the receivers, next you need to flick the switches on either side of pushchair to fold it down, click the handle down and fasten the lock.

Overall I am very impressed with the pushchair. Once you get the hang of it, it is easy to put up/down, it's excellent to handle and steer, plus it's really light to push! I was disappointed with the fact you have to buy so many extra accessories though.

The Britax Romer Baby-Safe is pretty much all you can ask for in a car seat. It's strong, sturdy, and very comfortably padded to keep your baby comfy and secure. As you can see, my little baby really likes it. (Sometimes during the day it's the only place she'll sleep!) It's easy to fix into a Britax pushchair using the receivers, or into the isofix base. It's smart, stylish and easy to clean, so like I said, what more could you ask for?

The Baby-Safe ISOFIX makes it easy to travel to travel safely with your little ones. Following the instructions, you fix the ISOFIX anchor points into your car where it stays. Meaning all you need to do to get the car seat out is a simple click on a button. The base is completely adjustable meaning it can fit perfectly and securely into your car. It couldn't be easier and it gives you peace of mind that your little one is really safe and comfortable.

All in all, I am really impressed with the full travel system. Aside from the fact you need to remember to buy the extra accessories, it's a really great system and it's reassuring to know my baby is as safe as possible wherever we are. It's the perfect system for everyday use, but I do recommend you figure out all the clicks and buttons before you head out on your own.

If you're looking for a sturdy, lightweight travel system, I recommend checking out Britax products.
