Did you know that roses have anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties? Roses have been used in skin care for years and they can help reduce redness and moisturise your skin too. They are really amazing plants.
I wanted to share with you one of my favourite homemade face masks today, packed full of the magical power of roses! It's great for normal, combination or oily skin! {This post contains affiliate links}
1. Wash the rose petals in water and allow them to soak for a few minutes.
2. While they are soaking, mix up the rosewater, honey and yogurt.
3. Crush the rose petals and add them to the mixture.
4. If you'd prefer a smoother face mask (which to be honest, does make it easier to apply, but it's not a necessity) - you could pop the mixture in a blender for a minute.
5. Next you'll want to slather the mixture on your face, avoiding the eyes, nostrils and mouth and allow to dry.
6. Wash off just using water and pat dry.
7. Pop on plenty of moisturizer.
I'd love to know what you think, let me know if you try it!
