Benefits Of Engineered Wood Flooring

* This is a collaborative post

When you are doing up your home, there are so many options to consider. One of the most important decisions to make is what sort of flooring you would like to have. After all, your flooring is something that is in constant use and will have to withstand a lot of wear. Would you go for laminate, as it's easy to keep clean? Perhaps carpet as it's warmer, but also easily collects dirt. Real wood flooring looks amazing, but is also very pricey, would you ever consider engineered wood flooring?

Engineered wood flooring is a fantastic alternative to real hardwood flooring, with all the benefits, but far last cost! It has come a long way from simply looking cheap and cheerful and now it's as good quality as real wood! You'd have a tricky time telling the difference if I'm honest between real wood and engineered wood flooring. There are many types of engineered wood flooring to choose from to suit your home, from different colours such as black, natural or white as well as different woods to pick from too. You could go for Ash, Walnut and even Engineered Oak Flooring !

Engineered wood flooring also has another benefit, it can be safely used in different environments to real wood, such as kitchens and bathroom. Real wood can contract in moist environments, whereas engineered wood flooring doesn't do this!

It's hard wearing, durable and tough - perfect for families! It can easily be cleaned and wiped down too so it'll be easy to keep it looking as good as new. Engineered wood flooring is made of multiple layers of plywood, with an attractive real wood top layer. Wooden flooring looks amazing in any home, with any style or colour schemes, and engineered wood is a more budget friendly option, but still looks and feels the part!
