(AD/Review) Luxury Skincare From Skinstation

SkinStation Obagi Review

Over the past few years, I've really tried to pay more attention to my skin. To be more informed about the products I use, and to work on my everyday skincare routine. (Don't get me wrong, I'm not perfect and sometimes I do fall asleep with make up on, or each too much sugar and break out!) But it's a work in progress.

I've always had problematic skin, I've suffered with eczema since childhood and depending on the weather/environment, it can get extremely dry, flaky and sensitive.

I'm always on the look out for the perfect products for me, I've tried various brands and in the last few years, nothing has been quite right. So that's why I was so excited to be asked to review some luxurious products from Skinstation, the Obagi Gentle Cleanser and the Obagi Hydrate Luxe face cream.

Due to the fact I have dry, eczema prone, sensitive skin, many cleansers make my face feel tight, stingy and in fact make my skin feel worse.

But the Obagi Gentle Cleanser does exactly what it says on the bottle. It gentle cleanses without the feeling of tightness or stripping all the natural oils on my skin. It cleans my skin and pores and leaves it feeling fresh and soft. A little really goes a long way with this gorgeous cleanser too, and it's mild enough for daily use to gently remove makeup, dirt and impurities.

After using the Obagi cleanser for 7 days, I can honestly see a huge difference in my skin. It's soft, supple and clean. I couldn't ask for more in a cleanser.

A decent moisturiser is my absolute skincare essential. I can't go a day without applying it or my skin feels tight and uncomfortable. The Obagi Hydrate Luxe face cream is equally as wonderful as the cleanser. It's extremely hydrating without feeling to greasy or heavy on my skin. It rubs in really well,  and when I wake up in the morning, after using the face cream at night, my skins looks so plump and dewy.

Again, a little definitely does go a long way, so you do get a lot for your money, and honestly it really like such a rich and luxurious skin care, a real treat for your skin.

The face cream is very thick, again why you don't need to use too much and glides on really easily to cover the whole face and décolletage. The light fragrance is very pleasant and not too overwhelming either, it just smells expensive!

Overall, I am really impressed with both the Obagi Gentle Cleanser and the Obagi Hydrate Luxe. Both are so easy to apply, and are really hydrating and moisturising.

If I were to give any faults to the products, is that they are a bit pricey. Saying that, I will again mention that you do only need to use a small amount with each use - making them worth the money in the long run.

Very  impressed, a real, luxurious, pampering treat for your skin.
