Life lately has been a whirlwind of sunshine, overheating, junk food eating, park days and everything in between. With the summer holidays officially here, I’ve been juggling busy days with the little ones, squeezing in a bit of time for myself, and discovering a few new things that have really made life easier, brighter, or just plain more fun. I always enjoy sharing what’s caught my eye or made a difference in our routine, so here are my favourites from the past month – from adorable toys to handy mum hacks!
Sylvanian Families Deer Family Set

The Sylvanian Families Deer Family set is a beautiful addition to a Sylvanian Family collection! The family of four – dad, mum, little girl, and baby in a sling are just too cute – each has different patterns which just makes them all the more cuter! The attention to detail on their little outfits and faces is just so adorable, the baby in the little sling in just the sweetest. As with most Sylvanian products, the set is on the pricier side, but the quality and durability really shine through. These figures are perfect for imaginative play and storytelling! A beautiful, long-lasting gift for any Sylvanian fan!

Super Mario™ Adventure Game Jr.

The Super Mario™ Adventure Game Jr. is a fun and nostalgic tabletop game that combines classic Mario-themed design with a hands-on, arcade-style challenge. The aim is to guide a ball through a mini obstacle course using levers and buttons – and when it works, it’s genuinely entertaining and great for building kids’ coordination and patience. My children had fun navigating the course and cheering each other on. However, I must say that assembly wasn’t the easiest – a bit fiddly and not as intuitive as I’d hoped. Once set up, it did offer some fun play sessions, especially for Mario fans!

The 'Underpants Hero' Stitch phone and Earpod holder is both adorable and practical – a must-have for any Disney or Stitch fan! It's about 4 inches tall and it’s surprisingly sturdy and can comfortably hold my phone (portrait or landscape), earbud case, or other small gadgets without toppling over. The design is bright, playful, and full of character – with Stitch in his heroic underpants stance, it adds a cute touch to any desk or nightstand. The quality is excellent – it feels well-made and detailed, with a nice weight to it. Whether you’re gifting or treating yourself, this is a fab little desk accessory with loads of personality!

STABILO BOSS Original Highlighter 6-Pack

These STABILO BOSS Original highlighters are absolute staples in my stationery drawer, especially for planning, journaling, and colour-coding. The colours are bright without being harsh or overly neon, and they really help bring my planner pages to life. One of my favourite features is the anti-dry out technology – I’ve accidentally left the cap off for a while, and they’ve still worked perfectly! They glide smoothly on the page and don’t bleed through on most papers, especially thicker planner paper. I’ve even found that they don’t smudge many types of pen, which is always a bonus for quick note-taking or highlighting over handwriting. Overall, it’s a fantastic set – vibrant, long-lasting, and super reliable. If you’re into journaling, this little pack is a must!

I love the chunky grip – it’s ergonomic and makes long writing sessions much easier on the hand. The colours are vibrant and ideal for note-taking, colour-coding, or adding a bit of fun to everyday lists. For the price, especially in a multi-pack, they’re excellent value and feel durable. Great for school, journaling, or everyday use!

Breakfast Boost – Milled Seeds and Berries
The Kids Breakfast Boost has become a brilliant little secret weapon in our morning routine. With its mild berry flavour and super fine texture, it blends seamlessly into porridge, yoghurt, smoothies, and even pancake batter—without any complaints from my kids! I love that it’s full of milled seeds and natural ingredients, giving a gentle boost of fibre, Vitamin D, and iodine without any added sugar or artificial nasties. It doesn’t alter the taste or texture too much, which is key when dealing with fussy eaters. As a busy mum, it’s so reassuring to know that breakfast is being topped up with extra nutrients, especially on hectic mornings. This one’s a firm favourite in our house, and I’ll definitely be picking up another pack!
Everyday Boost – Milled Seeds and Grains
The Everyday Boost is a really versatile all-rounder that I’ve found useful across so many meals. It doesn’t have the fruitiness of the Breakfast Boost, so it works better in savoury dishes—I’ve stirred it into soups, added it to breadcrumbs, and even sprinkled it into cake batter. It adds a subtle nutty flavour (without containing any nuts!), and it blends in really well without my kids noticing. I especially love that it’s packed with natural goodness—grains, seeds, and essential nutrients that support immunity and digestion. As someone who usually avoids packet products because of weird ingredients, I’m really impressed by the clean, honest ingredient list. If you’re after an easy way to boost everyday meals, this one’s a winner.

Pasta Boost – Milled Seeds and Veggies
If I could only pick one from the Good4U kids range, it would be the Pasta Boost! This product has been an absolute game-changer for dinnertimes in our house. I’ve stirred it into bolognese, hidden it in pasta sauces, sprinkled it over pizza, and even mixed it into cottage pie—all without a single comment from my highly suspicious children. The texture is so fine that it melts right into sauces, and the fact it’s packed with veggies and seeds makes me feel much better about those ‘beige’ dinners that sneak onto the weekly meal plan. The fact that it’s totally tasteless means there’s zero resistance from the kids, and loads of peace of mind for me.

It’s been such a lovely mix of cute finds, fun games, and clever little additions that have made mum life just that bit easier this month. I’m always so grateful when I come across things that actually work for our family – and even better when the little ones love them too (bonus points if they don’t notice the healthy stuff, right?).
Let me know if you’ve tried any of these or if something new made it onto your favourites list this month – I love hearing about your finds too!
