Planning a holiday is always exciting but deciding what to pack can be a tricky experience. You want to be stylish, comfortable and ready for any adventure (or weather!) that may come your way. Whether you are jetting off to a fancy tropical island, or staying close to home at a cute seaside town - you need to choose your outfits wisely!

In every suitcase their needs to be a few essential staples, things that can be mixed and matched to create a large combination of cute, simple outfit ideas. A simple white t-shirt for example. Can be dressed up or down with a few finishing touches, and a pair of comfortable trousers or jeans are essential too. A light jacket or cardigan should be something you always have on hand (even when you aren't going away haha) Ideal for chillier evenings or when you end up staying out later than you had intended - and lastly, a good pair of comfy shoes. Ones that can withstand long walks and provide support for your feet for extended amounts of time. You may also want to bring a pair of beautiful heels or boots.

Be sure to really think about what the climate is going to be where you are going on holiday! Hot places will obviously need less, looser clothing - where as if you are staying in the UK, you might need anything from a wool jumper to a bikini. Who knows!

Packing efficiently and making use of the space in your bags and suitcase is crucial, so it's a great idea to put together more of a capsule wardrobe situation. Less is more and all that. Choose clothing that can be dressed up, or dressed down, accessories that can really make an outfit amazing. Plus - don't forget to try out different folding or rolling techniques to really make use of all the space you have!

Of course you want to look good and feel good, so it's essential to prioritise comfort too. Particularly if you are going to be doing a lot of travelling or walking for example. Comfort should never be compromised! If you are planning to embark on a long journey or explore new destinations on foot, prioritise clothing that allows you to move easily. Go for more breathable fabrics such as linen or cotton, which can help you stay cooler in hot weather. Loose fitting tops and dresses are the perfect combination of comfort and stylish too! Allowing you to enjoy your holiday and look amazing, without feeling restricted.

If you are heading for a holiday somewhere warm, ensure you pack a variety of lightweight and versatile items of clothing. Dresses, shorts, skirts and t-shirts can all be mixed and matched to create a whole variety of outfit ideas. Maybe adding a gorgeous big hat and sunglasses to protect yourself from the sun, and to add the perfect finishing touch to any outfit.

If you are traveling to colder place, layering will be your best friend. Bring a mix of jumpers, tops and cardigans that you can easily add or remove, again allowing you to create a variety of different outfit ideas! How about a fab, classic jacket too, like a denim or leather jacket to keep you warm - plus, they always look amazing!

Lastly, shoes are so important - so choose wisely! Pack comfortable, supportive walking shoes or sneakers if you are going to need them. Sandals or flip flops if you are going to be at the beach, and maybe a gorgeous pair high heels if you are planning to go out to dinner or somewhere else fancy!

As I mentioned above, accessories can be the perfect touch to any outfit and really make your outfit pop! Plus, the options are endless! A sun hat, OTT sunglasses, belts, scarves, necklaces and statement jewellery can transform a basic outfit into something AMAZING!
