Little Things My Mother Taught Me

It's Mother's Day. the one day of the year where we publicly honour the woman who gave birth to us, cooked & cleaned us,
kept a roof over our heads and provided a shoulder to cry on.
I wanted to share with you a few little things my mother taught me throughout the years.

* Have a big heart.
Be kind and put others first.
Love selflessly and take care of others.

* Don't compare yourself to others
You are different, you are unique.
Be happy being you.

* Happiness is the most important thing

* Forgive
There is no point in holding grudges, life is too short.

* You can never give too many hugs and kisses.

* Take pride in the way you look.
Take care of yourself, and your body.

* Tell your children you love them all the time.
It's never too often.

* Learn to laugh at yourself.
My mum is hilarious, and absolutely crazy,
she makes me laugh all the time & laughs at herself too.

* The world doesn't revolve around you

* Live within your income

* It's ok to let your emotions out.
Don't bottle it all in.

* If you want that chocolate bar, you eat it.
Live a little. Haha

* You're special

* Don't waste a single day

One more thing my mum always says, and I will always remember.
Some people grow up wanting to be teachers, lawyers, doctors, vets.
My mum wanted to be a mum.
'The best thing I ever did was become a mum'

I love you Mum.

Happy Mother's Day  xxx

Oh love this post!! I totally agree with your mum. You can never tell your children you love them, too much. And 100% becoming a mother is the best thing EVER!! Thanks for linking up to #sundaystars xxx
