They Are Not Imperfections

Everyone has days when they feel like they look awful. Unwashed hair, spotty face. Baggy clothes, chipped nails. It's hard to feel good about yourself when you put no effort in. But it's hard to put effort in, when you feel like it's not even worth it.

I've got a spot on my chin that ain't budging. No amount of makeup can disguise this bad boy today. Even when you are feeling so crappy about yourself. Never forget; Your children think you are perfect. Your little ones won't judge you on your unwashed hair, or that peculiar stain on your top. They won't judge you for having a bad skin day, or not having freshly painted nails. I tell my babies they are gorgeous, handsome, amazing, all the time. I see no harm in it. Utterly perfect in every way. So why is it, that we always find our own 'imperfections'

Listen to your children. They love you just the way you are, imperfections and all. Because, of one simple reason. To them, they are not imperfections. You are perfect.
