Toilet rolls are such a fun, versatile craft material aren't they! And it's something most of us generally always have on hand.
We were recently learning about 'People That Help Us' for our home learning topic, and we spent a day learning all about the emergency services, who they are, what they do, how to contact them, what they look like!
I decided to put together and easy peasy craft, but one that would help them remember who the emergency services are - so I present to you, Emergency Services Toilet Roll People!
They're super easy to make, we used wax crayons to colour them in. We researched their uniforms on the internet and coloured the toilet roll tubes to show that. Then they added the finishing touches using a black pen and they're done!
I think they've turned out so cute, and they're a great teaching aid for learning about the emergency services! Plus, my three have all had fun playing with them too!
