Happy Birthday Big Mac!

The Big Mac® is 50 years old! That's almost double my age, that's crazy. To celebrate half a century of the classic McDonald’s burger, there are a few treats for us all to enjoy!

Inspired by the 1974 Big Mac advert, then The Simpsons version -  90's popstars Chesney Hawkes & Jason Donovan have teamed up to sing the classic McDonald's tongue twister
"Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun"

Fans of the Big Mac will also be excited to hear that for a limited time only, you can now purchase new editions of the Big Mac®!
There's the classic birthday Big Mac® - two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles & onions sandwiched between a three-piece sesame seed bun.

Now you can also nab a Mac Jr - Made with all the same ingredients as the classic, but without the middle bun!

Finally..*drum roll* The Grand Big Mac - With all the same ingredients as the good old Big Mac®, but on a larger scale. Sometimes, you just need a grand burger!

But you’ll have to be quick as they’re only available until the 20th March!

Did you know, the first Big Mac® was made in 1968, and following its huge success in the USA shortly made its way over to the UK in 1974. It's now one of the most iconic and loved burgers in the world!

Why don't you try and complete the tongue twister in less than 40 seconds?! Join in using the hashtag #BigMac50 "Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun"
