Why Join The Journey To Zero Waste

Zero Waste is about reducing the amount of waste you send to landfill. Avoiding Single Use Plastics if you can. No one is perfect, and no one can do everything but if we all do our part, little steps, we can and will make a difference.

Buzzcloth - Eco Friendly Beeswax Food Wraps {Review}

After reading up and learning about the damage our rubbish is doing to the planet, I made a huge list. A list of things that I needed to stop buying, stop using and find a suitable eco-friendly alternative. On the journey to zero waste, it's important to take baby steps and approach each issue one at a time, otherwise, it can become overwhelming. So on my list, I included the fact that I needed to stop using plastic sandwich bags and clingfilm (as well as foil and baking paper). I used sandwich bags and clingfilm on a regular basis, my little ones take packed lunches to nursery and we often ate sandwiches throughout the week too. I was throwing away plastic on a regular basis and I knew that needed to change, then I came across beeswax wraps and they seemed too good to be true.

So Eco Eye Brush Kit {Review}

My make up brushes have definitely seen better days. I've been meaning to replace them for a while now and I knew I wanted to invest in something better than the cheap plastic ones I previously bought. As I am embarking on a journey to zero waste this year I wanted to replace them with something more environmentally friendly and then I discovered the So Eco range.

18 Deliciously Comforting Soups To Warm You Up Inside

Homemade Soup is definitely one of my favourite meals. It's so filling and delicious! There are so many different flavours to try and it's a really great way of getting more veggies in your diet! (Whenever I'm on a diet, soup is my go to-meal!) But soup is not just super healthy for you, but it's so comforting and warming on these chilly Winter days!

Aukey USB Essential Oil Diffuser {Review}

I'm trying to create a more cosy, homely home for myself and my loved ones this year. I love chunky candles in jars, reed diffusers and fairy lights but they need replacing fairly often, which is a shame. Candles are amazing, as they create a wonderful scent in the home but soon enough the smell fades and the candles melt away. Reed diffusers look so pretty, and provide a beautiful, but lighter scent - but they tend to last even less time. I've always loved the look of plug-in diffusers so I was really excited to give the *Aukey Essential Oil Diffuser a try!

I've said it before and I'll say it again, we should all continue learning throughout our lives. Continue expanding our knowledge and expressing our creative sides on a regular basis. One of my New Year Goals is to try a new hobby or two, so I wanted to compile a list of lots of different ideas. Why not give it a go yourself and try a new hobby?

Winnie The Pooh Salt Dough Fun

I loved Winnie The Pooh as a child. The stories and books, the tv shows and films. One of my favourite toys as a child was a large, classic looking Winnie The Pooh. My brother loved Tigger & my sister loved Piglet, we even made our own Winnie The Pooh Club.  It was so much fun!

Sneaky Tricks To Get Your Little Ones To Eat Their Veggies!

I've really been struggling to get my little guy to eat any sort of fruit or vegetable lately. During & shortly after Christmas, he wouldn't have any of it! He wouldn't eat a single pea or a slice of apple. It was driving me crazy! I decided I needed to resort to hiding them. I hid fruit in things such as biscuits and muffins, and veggies in lunch or dinner. I've compiled a few tips of different ways to get those pesky fruit & veggies into your little ones, if like mine they are being really fussy!

It's My Birthday And I'll Nap If I Want To

Today is my birthday! Yay! I'd like to say (Well, not like) that I'm 27 today, but if I'm totally honest I don't even know anymore. Haha. Both my little ones are at nursery and I'm planning on having a mega lazy day. No work. TV, Tea, Chocolate and probably a nap or two. Haha. Aside from that though, it's my little girlie's birthday tomorrow and she's having a big party so that means I've got 101 sandwiches to make. She's having a Moana themed party, so I've been obsessively searching Pinterest for food inspiration. Oh wish me luck. Hope you all have an amazing few days! xxx

DIY Gingerbread Sugar Scrub

One of my favourite things to make are homemade bath & beauty products. I absolutely love them. It's so much fun experimenting and creating all natural products for yourself. Not only do they often make fantastic gifts, but because you've made them from natural products, you know exactly what's in them and they should be so much better for you than shop bought products. I decided to make a couple of homemade items as Christmas presents and I was asked regularly if I could share how I made them, so here I am today - sharing my DIY Gingerbread Sugar Scrub!

2018 Goals & Aspirations

A New Year means New Goals! Well to me anyway, I love setting goals and January is always a great place to begin, but I don't believe in setting resolutions. Resolutions are something you start on January 1st, and by the 2nd if you aren't still doing it - you've failed. Goals and aspirations are so much more realistic, so much more achievable. Things you can continue to work on throughout the year, but don't have to spend every waking hour focusing on. Remember - Improvement not Perfection. So I'm sharing with you my Goals & Aspirations 2018
