AirShot Pop Blast Review

Finding activities that keep the children entertained during the summer holidays can sometimes feel impossible. We all know that feeling when they've got every single toy out by lunchtime and are already asking, "What can we do now?" That's exactly why we were excited to try the AirShot Pop Blast from Wicked Uncle.

The AirShot Pop Blast is an air-powered foam ball blaster that launches soft foam balls up to around 30 feet. It doesn't need batteries, there's no charging involved, and it's ready to play with in just a few moments. Simply load the foam balls into the barrel, pump the handle, and you're ready to fire.

What I liked straight away was how simple it is. There aren't lots of fiddly parts or complicated instructions, which means the children could quickly work out how it worked without constantly asking for help. (And no batteries or charger leads!!!) The little popping sound each time a ball shoots out made everyone laugh.

It's one of those toys that encourages children to come up with their own ideas instead of telling them exactly how to play, and I always think those are the toys that get used the longest.

One of the biggest advantages for parents is that it's completely mess-free. It has all the excitement of a water fight without soaked clothes, muddy gardens or puddles across the patio. It also means it can be used indoors on rainy days, provided you have a little space and move anything fragile out of the way first.

Overall, the AirShot Pop Blast has been a lovely addition to our collection of outdoor toys. It's easy to use, encourages active play and sparked plenty of laughter as we challenged each other to target games in the garden. If you're looking for a birthday gift or something a little different to keep children entertained over the school holidays, this is definitely one worth considering.
